So Luxola had a 30 hours 30% off last month and I just couldn't control myself over all the products they had on site! I needed some new skin care too and was open to trying new products, so I got myself onto a spreeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Now here's the products I've got with quick short reviews and swatches whenever available.
1) Sleep MakeUp – i-Divine Snapshot $20
It's my new holy grail eye shadow! I just can't stop loving the colors, mixing them and creating new looks! What's most amazing is the pigmentation and the lasting strength – the Shimmery and Darker colors lasts the whole day and the lighter colors need only minimum make up.
The pink can be used as cheek blush and the darker nude colors can be used as contouring. Rather versatile piece too!
It's sleek packaging is true to it's brand name, great for traveling!
Can't wait to create more looks with this… Pink with Orange, Purple, Purple with Green, Natural look, Pink with maroon.. the possibilities are endless! Take note though, that some of the green hues came out to be almost alike…Sleek could give us a more contrasting color I think!
2) Sleep MakeUp Peach Shimmer Face and Body Glo $20
It's interesting how Luxola had labelled this product as Halal and Vegan. I heard from Goss Wayne that Sleek is against Animal Testings and even go as far to not enter countries that legalize animal testings, so I guess this makes sense too.
Again, the packaging is sleek and easy to carry on the go. Only problem is that it's extremely hard to open! I actually had to use a considerable amount of strength to open the packaging. It might be only applicable to the one I received though.
Shimmer is natural and glowy type as shown in the pictures. Mixing different colors give you different results.
Again, love the colors and can be used for natural eye make up too! Have not used it as a body shimmer though.. anyone can help enlighten me on how to use this for the body?
3) Sleek MakeUp Dip-it Duo Volumising Mascara and Liquid Eyeliner
From the swatch above, you can see how metallic and vibrant the gold and silver are. The black is really jet black and all these colours are achieved in just one swipe. Once again Sleek had lived up to its name for producing pigmented products. However, the staying power of the gold and silver are hardly there. The shine fades after awhile and they do smudge. The black eyeliner smudges too. Probably good for photo taking.
The mascara was a great disappointment though. Look, it's just the colour, hardly and fibers and the brush sucks big time, it's short and hard. No lashes do not need scrubbing!
As much as I love Sleep MakeUp, this didn't make the bill.
