Qi Yun and I were honoured to be invited to LG’s launch of their amazing 2016 TV line-up and audio solutions on 6th Apr 2016. A series of quality sound bars for an amazing home theatre experience were brought to our attention, namely the SH8 and SH7 from the LG SH Sound Bar Series.
LG SH8 Soundbar
The sound bars support the new Adaptive Sound Control (ASC) feature, which is LG’s unique sound enhancing technology, allowing the sound bar to detect and change its own sound settings to suit a range of media types. For example, when it senses high levels of vocalization, like on the news or the narration part of a documentary, the ASC feature will lower the bass level to make dialogue crystal-clear.
Apart from sound bars, LG had also introduced their range of Bluetooth enabled sound series. One particular product vividly my attention and I’m super excited to share it with you! Introducing the LG Sound360!
A milk/coffee tumbler with a penchant for sound
First up. I totally love the design of the LG sound360. It kinds looks like a milk bottle, cute and elegant at the same time. I’ve gotten a blue one, courtesy of LG, and connected it to my laptop at home. Now, my prior experience with ‘decorative’ speakers hasn’t been good. So far, speakers have either ‘look good’ or ‘sound good’, rarely both. So you can imagine my delight when the speakers boomed to the beat of my ‘epic music’ YouTube video 😀 Totally awesome!!
My blue LG Sound360 looking lovely 😀
The strong sound quality and small body of the Sound360 are the result of close collaboration between LG’s Home Entertainment and Mobile Communications Companies.
It’s also incredibly easy to use, all I needed was to switch on my laptop Bluetooth and pair the device. It works well with your mobile too. As the name suggests, LG Sound360 projects sound in a 360-degree range, so music sounds great no matter where you are. Qi Yun and I frequently work on our table in the living room, and the LG Sound360 sits daintily in between us. Good thing we both share the same taste in music! Our LG Sound360 also accompanies us during meals, providing us with more-awesome-than-laptop sound (20W sound output) when we watch shows while munching food.
Food seems to taste better nowadays!
The perfect breakfast companion
I’ve gotten the LG Sound360 about a month ago, and so far I’ve only charged thrice! That’s because the LG Sound360 has 20 hours of battery life. So even if you’re a sound hog who listens to music for an entire day and sleeps only 4 hours, the LG Sound360 has got you covered. I’m liking the LG Sound360 so much that I’m using it pretty often. In fact, I’m listening to my ‘epic music’ collection as I type this post 😀
Elegant simplicity
Comes with ‘pair and play’ function to pump up the volume, and party!
If you’re looking for a pretty looking and fuss free music piece for your home or office, do give the LG Sound360 some thought. It is really a beauty and so far everyone I’ve shown this to loved it! It’s elegant design fits nicely on your table top and adds a nice touch to any home. In fact, it blended so nicely that one of our friends was shocked to find music coming from the tumbler!
The coolest tumbler ever!
