Exciting things are happening at Resorts World Genting. Since the opening of the all-new Sky Avenue concept mall in Dec 2016, the place has been bustling with activity and great food. With 70 retail and dining outlets open so far, it’s hard to know where to start.
Not to worry, we got you covered with these 3 must-try fabulous restaurants, all located within walking distance at Level 1, Sky Avenue.
1) Burger & Lobster
‘Burger & Lobster’ is a popular chain of restaurants in the UK, specialising in (you guessed it), burgers and lobsters. Its outlet in Resorts World Genting is Burger & Lobster’s first forage in South East Asia and judging from the long snaking queues, they’ve made the right move.
The atmosphere at Burger & Lobster is a mix between an American-themed restaurant and a pub. There’s even a bar inside which makes this place the perfect hunt with friends. Read more at my dedicated blog post here!
2) Cafés Richard

The go-to place for coffee. This place has one of the best artisan coffee Qi Yun and I have ever tasted. In fact, we liked it so much that we visited this place twice in a day, for teabreak and for supper.
Cafés Richard is known for its dedication in roasting and serving coffee, earning it its reputation as the number 1 roaster in France. With classy décor and even classier waiters who refer to you as ‘Monsieur/Madame’, Cafés Richard exudes an undeniable air of sophistication. Read the full review here!
3) Motorino
Motorino has been hailed as the ‘best authentic Neopolitan Italian pizza restaurant in New York’ by the New York Times. They serve a wide array of pizzas with over 20 different toppings, and other dishes as well, so tons of choices await! It’s Pizza Heaven!
They also serve antipasti, the traditional first course of an Italian meal. We got to try 4 different pizzas and 2 antipasti. Want to know what we think? Read here!
4) BONUS: Street Churros
Seems like the world’s famous F&B outlets are all coming to Resort World Gentings! Even street food has made its appearance. Street Churros is a Korean brand that has elevated the humble churros to a mouth-watering delicacy.
Their outlet in Resort World Genting is packed with Churros lovers and people (like us) who were simply looking for a tasty snack before ending the day.
We ordered a plain ice cream churro. The churro was hot and slightly crispy, and is actually one of the better churros I’ve had! Even the vanilla ice cream is good – less ice, more cream with a strong taste of milk. If you’re hard pressed for time and around the area, Street Churros is a place worth checking out.
Street Churros is located at L1 SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting, Pahang, Malaysia,
Open daily Sun-Thu 11am – 10pm, Fri-Sat 11am – 12am.
